To See Is To Believe

The first time I saw the trailer of Life of Pi,I already fell in love with it because of its quote,"believe the unbelievable". As you can see in my header,it's my life quote as well. :) And yahay!I got to watch it yesterday with Jamie :) I love the cinematography and all!:) Read this write-up to learn more from the movie,but warning:it has spoilers!:)

Are you the kind of person who'd believe and settle to what's believable in the eyes of other people?

Are you gonna just always say "I have to see it first before I believe."?

Will you believe the unbelievable?

The Empty Canvas

When We Are Expecting For Big Things

Most of the time,we get annoyed when SMALL things are there in front of us,because we always want to receive BIG things.That's the truth,right?Every once in awhile,God will remind me to be always thankful in every single thing that He's doing in my life,whether it's big or small.He will always tell me to be joyful and just FOCUS on Him no matter what the situation is.

Today,God reminded me again when I found this quote in my notes.It was from the movie Amazing Grace.And yes!Those small things that God is doing in my life will surely mold me to the big things that He's gonna show me!I don't know when...Maybe later,maybe tomorrow,maybe next week or next month,all I know is that I can trust Him. :) I believe that it's one of the molding process wherein God will stretch our faith in Him, if we will remain faithful and obedient even if there are no beautiful storms from Him.He will fill us through those drips.So look beyond those little things that are happening in your life!Be thankful and pray that God may open your eyes and heart to see what He's up to!:) You'll be surprised with His answer!:) Let's be faithful in this drizzle season!:) Let's pray together!Okay?:) Let's go!:D

I love how Paul viewed his hardships as instruments for God's glory.He really lived joyfully that Christ is preached.

When Pigs Fly

YES!!!PIGS ARE FLYING ALREADY!NOTHING IS REALLY IMPOSSIBLE!K,wala lang.HAHA!Kidding!=)) The moment I laid my eyes on these balloons I really wanted to cry!!!To the point that I really stopped and just stared at them.Deep inside I was really screaming,"OH MY GOD!!!I WAAANNNNNTTT!!!" I really love BALLOONS and PIGS!!!HAHAHA!THEY ARE SO CUUUUUUUTE!!!:O) ARGGHH!!SERYOSO.GUSTO KO NIYAN!HAHAHA!=))) And that reminded me of the "FAITH LIKE A CHILD" or "CHILDLIKE FAITH" subject. Seeing these photos,I felt like I was this little kiddo crying just to have a lollipop.HAHA!That faith that nothing could ever let me down whatever things people would tell me.That faith that will never let me down until I get what I want(Well,not in a spoiled-y way.Haha!). That faith that is so dependent to the Father that He will give anything and everything  that I'd ask in His right time.We often talk about “faith like a child,” from verses like Luke 18:17 that says, “I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” or Matthew 18:4, “Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”-John Acuff

Starting To Appreciate This

Okay,you might be asking "So?Ano meron?" or "Uhhmm..What's this all about?" 

These photos were taken on our way back to Manila from Level Up camp. These are street lights and lights in our bus. We were just taking photos inside the bus then suddenly my friend did this trick with his camera,so..Me, being a noob in photography tried to learn, but deep inside there's this question "WHY WOULD YOU EVEN BLUR OR WHATEVER THE SETTINGS OR WHATEVER OF YOUR CAMERA?!!!" Hahaha!:))) At first,I didn't understand!!!But then when I saw the photos,I really loved them.In fact,I would stare at them now and just appreciate its beauty.Just like these photos,I learned that there are some "weird" things that God will allow to happen to make us grow in our walk with Him, we may not understand it but all we have to understand and know is that how He loves us and that "His will is-good,pleasing and perfect." for all of us-(Romans 12:2) 

And in the midst of the weirdness in this life,there's still beauty and wonders.We'd always find beauty wherever we are, because of the hope that our Master Creator has given us.
"The struggles you're going through now-don't discard them. Listen to God as He teaches you so that you can teach others. You see,a time of suffering/weirdness teaches us something we never knew before and may prepare us for a time of counsel that we will give someone years from now.Ask God how this weirdness/suffering can bring you closer to Him.GOD IS WITH YOU!"

When God Asked Me To Walk On Water

Meet "THE WEAVING OF MY FAITH AND PATIENCE" project.It was for our FABDES2(Fabric Design 2) subject.I think,it was given to us last September 19,2011 and the submission is on October 10,2011.This is a 2-in-1 project,btw!:)

Weekend Revelation#1: God told me to just walk in His ways.

God’s Faithfulness Episode 1: Last October 3,I was really scared to go to class because I only got to do .001% of it.HAHA!But then,God reminded me of His revelation during the weekend.So I did go to school.As I was entering the room,there I saw my prof,my heart was beating too fast.As I was about to sit,he approached me and looked at my .001% work and said that it’s nice and if I continue doing it,I AM ON MY WAY TO 4.0!(That’s our highest grade) My heart leaped and all I ever said was “Thank you,sir!THANK YOU,GOD!” :”D While we were all weaving,he said again that I should continue doing it if I want to get a 4.0 grade,and he added that..If ever,it’d be the first time that he’s giving that high grade. My heart that was beating too fast because of nervousness when I entered the class, turned into a heart beating too fast because of JOY! :”)

Weekend Revelation#2: God told me to start walking on water.Have FAITH and just OBEY.

God’s Faithfulness Episode 2: October 9(Sunday),I wasn’t able to go to church because of this project.I weaved the whole day!And for the past 3 days,I haven’t been faithful with my quiet time. :( But God still provided me with His strength!:”D Around 12 midnight of October 10,I already felt the lack of sleep and the back pain.Then,there goes God again!He reminded me that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!For how many hours,I was really encouraged and I kept on listening to the song “Nothing Is Impossible” by Planetshakers. By 4am,I already wanted to cry,because I still had a long way to go and I should pass it by 9am!I asked God what to do now.Then He told me,”Stop everything you’re doing now.Come,worship me and do your quiet time then rest.” I was like,“GOD,ARE YOU SERIOUS?!I STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.I CAN’T REALLY FINISH THIS ANYMORE IF I STOP.” Then He said,“Walk on the water,NOW.Have FAITH.Just OBEY.”and I just followed. While I was having my quiet time,all I ever said to God was “SORRY.” because,I wasn’t being faithful. I just cried out to Him and lifted everything up to Him. After that,He told me to rest. :”D

God’s Faithfulness Episode 3: I had an hour and 30mins of sleep,thank God for that!:D When I was in the car on my way to school,my heart was at peace but then I asked God,”God?What if I fail?What if..What if…” then He reminded me of Peter’s story when he walked on water,which is found in Matthew 14:22-33.When Peter was already walking on the water to Jesus,he saw the wind and began to sink and cried out to Jesus.Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,”he said, “why did you doubt?”(v.31) It hit me,and I just prayed and told God that I won’t doubt anymore and let His will be done!:) When I entered the classroom,I saw my prof and asked God,“Okay,God?What now?” then I sat down feeling the heaviness of my body and just prayed and prayed and prayed in Jesus Name!:) The moment my prof got up from his seat,thank God that my heart was at peace and all I could ever think of was “God,let Your will be done!” Our prof started walking around the class and looking at our works.Then he saw that almost everyone didn’t get to finish their works. He stopped and said,“Okay,fine.Pass your projects next week!Be thankful that your works are nice.If not,I wouldn’t care!” I WANTED TO SHOUT FOR JOY AND CRY INSIDE THE CLASSROOM!THANK GOD!:”D I REALLY WANTED TO EXPLODE THAT TIME!SUPER DUPER THANK GOD!:”D 

God’s Faithfulness Episode 4: October 17-Judgement day of our works!Haha!All I ever want to say in this episode is that….I GOT A 4.0!!!!WOOOHOOO!!!PRAISE GOD FOR EVERYTHING!!!:”D

This is really a faith changing experience,I really didn’t expect these things to happen. While I was doing my project,God didn’t let go of me.He kept on reminding me to FOCUS ON HIM and NOT on the problem. Even though I still had a long way to go,He didn’t stop on sending people to encourage me and pray for me to have the strength and guidance to finish it!:”D Because of this project I wasn’t being faithful to God with my quiet time and other things,but because of this project I saw how faithful God is.He showed me a lot of things that are beyond what I expected!:”) GOD IS FAITHFUL!:)

This project really changed my life,and from time to time God will remind me of this project and I will be reminded how faithful He is. :")

I Don't Need Easy,I Need Possible

This day has been a chill and rest day for me.Ever since I started helping in our family business this summer,waking up early and the Level Up camp I am really thanking God for today. :) One of the things that I did today was browse through my old Tumblr blog. So here I am,posting some of the things that I posted there before since I don't use it anymore.Heehee!:))

I got the title of this post from this movie--Soul Surfer.I just watched it this afternoon and this movie really left tears in my eyes.THIS IS A MUST WATCH MOVIE!But for the men..Guard your heart and your eyes!Hehe!:))

Bethany Hamilton is a born surfer.On October 31,2001,at the age of 13,Bethany was attacked by a 15-foot tiger shark while surfing off Kauai's North Shore. The attack took Bethany's left arm,seemingly ending her career as a rising surf star just as it was beginning.

Bethany's faith and determination just moved me.She really became an inspiration to me!Imagine yourself having one arm.Honestly,I can't even imagine myself having 1 missing finger.But this girl just proved this verse is true "I can do everything through him who gives me strength."-(Philippians 4:13) Yes,we always hear that verse since forever.But that verse gave life to Bethany!It gave her hope to surf again and to not give up even though everything seemed so hopeless.During one of the scenes in this movie,Bethany asked her dad to help her surf again,and her dad told her that it's not gonna be easy. That's where she said,"I don't need easy,I need possible." You see,her heart was so at peace that all she had was faith that she can do it because God is with her.She believes that nothing is impossible!Her courage was indescribable.She didn't understand why God allowed it to happen,but it didn't stop her from having faith in Him!And nothing stopped her from doing what she loves!Not even the shark!She just trusted God."Be strong and courageous.Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged,for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."-(Joshua 1:9) This verse was a really great help for Bethany to overcome and fight every fear that she faced to get back on board. :)

I believe that God allowed this accident to happen to Bethany to use her to be an inspiration to His children. We all know that there are a lot of people who are handicapped,and through Bethany's story,they find hope!She really is an inspiration to many!Even to me!:") Her story is life changing and it has been a tool to change lives also!:)

If clouds remind me of FAITH then balloons remind me of HOPE and DREAMS. I love balloons and they're so colorful!Don't you just love them?:">  Whenever I look at them it's like God is telling me "DREAM HIGH,My daughter.DREAM HIGHER!Put your hope in Me.I'll be with you.Don't be scared." KILIIIGGG!:">

A Time For Everything

Wala lang.I just love the new clock in my room.HAHA!:D 

"There is a time for everything,and a season for every activity under the heavens." -These words have helped me a lot when I was still broken and trying to find my way back to the road where God wants me to be.And from time to time God would remind me of these words and I must say,He really knows how to encourage us IN EVERY SEASON of our lives. :) This is the Word that God has been telling me this summer vacation. :)

 1 There is a time for everything,
    and a season for every activity under the heavens.

A friend of mine once told and encouraged me when he prayed for me and said that,"Wherever you are right now,God will meet you there." And I do know now and I really believe that God is always ahead of us, wherever we are going He already fought and won the battle for us,and He is just waiting for us and when we get there,He will be there to meet us. :) As one of my mentors would say,"Enjoy this season with God." YES!Enjoy!!!:) And oh!Don't forget to always give thanks in all circumstances as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18!:)

Every time I hear the songs You'll Come by Hillsong United and Nothing Is Impossible by Planetshakers, this heart that is surrounded by God's Holy light and chains around it that has been broken would always be my vision!:) Especially when it comes to these lines...

And every time I hear these lines,I never fail to hear God's voice telling me "My daughter,just be in faith!Nothing is impossible.I will fulfill my promise in My time.They will see Me and have a personal relationship with Me.Chains will be broken.I will heal them and I will reveal Myself to them.Do not worry.I am in control." YES!!My loved ones will have their salvation and God will reveal Himself to them, and they will have a personal relationship with Him,in His time!:)
