You Are An Original

I know that fashion is all about clothes,jewelries,accessories,glam,beauty,etc. and that's the world that I'm in right now because of my course. Yes,as a fashion design student,I get to see a lot of those things. But the Word of God taught me how to not be concerned on the outward appearance because what's important is the beauty that comes from within. His Word also tells me that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."-(Psalm 139:14) and so are you. :) 

Through fashion,I want to tell the whole world about God's love and that our identity is with Him and not on the clothes that we wear. It's contradicting right? But I believe that He has called me to be here to make a difference. Little by little I'll spread His Message through arts and fashion not just here in Manila but to the ends of the earth.All for His glory! :) Nothing is impossible right? :)

So right now,I want to tell you that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME BECAUSE GOD CREATED YOU.DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS BECAUSE GOD MADE YOU UNIQUELY.YOU ARE AN ORIGINAL.GOD IS YOUR IDENTITY AND NOT THE CLOTHES THAT YOU WEAR.:)

I haven't been active here for a while because of so many reasons. God has been really molding my heart,my character,actually...Every part of me!*I don't know what emoticon to use here* HAHAHA!

But this one's for all the people out there who are fighting the same battle that I'm fighting.The battle called life.

Last 2 Months

Helloo!I'm going craazzeeyyy because of the colds and headache I've got -.- But hey!I chose to move some muscles today instead of sleeping!Haha!:)) No,I did not do some workout.I did what I love to do: "arts and crafts". :) 

First,I made bracelets for LOUxurious.Visit us on December 7-23,2012 for the World Bazaar Festival at World Trade Center,okay? :) 

Second, I found printable photo booth props at Oh Happy Day(Such a lovely site!) the other day and decided to do it for the coming events(I'm so excited!Will share it soon!:]) Here are some of them!:)

Oh yeah!Hello,November!:) These last 2 months of the year will be so hectic for me,well,I guess...For all of us!:)) But despite the full sched in our calendars, I hope and pray that each and everyone of us will not forget why Christmas season is very special. :)

I'm one of those kids who really enjoyed solving the puzzles and building something instead of reading and the best toy for that would be Lego!Well,until now..I'd love to play with it,it's just too makalat.Lagot ako kay mama.HAHA!As a kid,I felt like just putting the Lego pieces together would already create a very beautiful building.Feeling ko ang galing galing ko na noon.HAHA!Just like these examples. :))

But now...There are so many amazing people who created these things.From cars to airplanes to buildings to cities to fashion and the list goes on.It's just...simply amazing!:D

I just really want to share this amazing revelation that I had yesterday. :) 

We're like Lego pieces that God has built, but there are times wherein He needs to rebuild us to add more pieces that will make us stronger,steadier,and more beautiful. And there are also times wherein He will take away pieces that are not useful anymore.But either way,He is the Builder and He knows what He is doing,that's why when that happens we just need to be still and know that He is God,our Creator,and the result will be much much much better than before. :) So I hope and pray that "Today,when you hear his voice,do not harden your hearts."-(Hebrews 3:7) Let us listen to His voice,let us trust Him and let Him "cut off every branch that bears no fruit,while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes,so that it will be even more fruitful."-(John 15:2) Let Him mold us and rebuild us and "let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Let us fix our eyes on Jesus."-(Hebrews 12:1,2)

When We Are Expecting For Big Things

Most of the time,we get annoyed when SMALL things are there in front of us,because we always want to receive BIG things.That's the truth,right?Every once in awhile,God will remind me to be always thankful in every single thing that He's doing in my life,whether it's big or small.He will always tell me to be joyful and just FOCUS on Him no matter what the situation is.

Today,God reminded me again when I found this quote in my notes.It was from the movie Amazing Grace.And yes!Those small things that God is doing in my life will surely mold me to the big things that He's gonna show me!I don't know when...Maybe later,maybe tomorrow,maybe next week or next month,all I know is that I can trust Him. :) I believe that it's one of the molding process wherein God will stretch our faith in Him, if we will remain faithful and obedient even if there are no beautiful storms from Him.He will fill us through those drips.So look beyond those little things that are happening in your life!Be thankful and pray that God may open your eyes and heart to see what He's up to!:) You'll be surprised with His answer!:) Let's be faithful in this drizzle season!:) Let's pray together!Okay?:) Let's go!:D

Where's Your Destination?

When it comes to shoes I'm not really into heels.I only like(and own) clogs and wedges,but I barely use them.Oh yeah,I'm a fashion student,btw.So..I find myself weird not falling in love with heels and not being a fan of Jimmy Choo.Haha!I've never felt any comfort wearing them.That's why I salute those who could wear them all day long!:)

See what I mean?:)) Yes,that's a photo of the shoes that I wore last Friday.I found this photo in my phone.My friend was being weird and captured that not so clean Chucks of mine. :)) But it's a good photo!It's just bluuryyyy.HAHA!

Seeing this photo made me realize one thing:

Last Friday,we had our 2nd week for our series Radical in U-Night. Pastor Daniel talked about Matthew 9:9-13.It's about the calling of Matthew the tax collector.Read it and you'll know that Pharisees are really disgusted with tax collectors and "sinners",they even questioned Jesus why He was eating with them,but he answered them with “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(v.12-13). :)  

In Matthew 9:9, Jesus said to Matthew "Follow me." Jesus didn't care who Matthew was and what he did,all Jesus wanted was for Matthew to follow Him,because He knows that change will happen in Matthew's heart when he follows Jesus. Just like us right now...Jesus wants us to JUST follow Him.

God doesn't even care what shoes you're wearing,He just wants you to JUST follow Him.Are you wearing those expensive shoes that are so "in" right now?Yes?But where are you right now?Where's your destination?Are you following Jesus?

As a woman that is running the race with God,I've learned and still learning that it's not about what I wear that could satisfy and complete me,but it's about living my life WITH and FOR God.

This Busy World

Busy people,busy mind,busy streets,busy world.Cars moving fast and just because of the red signal that they'd stop.People walk fast to get to their destinations.Yes,that's what you see in Taft everyday.Not just in Taft though,everywhere actually, because this is a busy world.Times like these that I get to people watch.Yes,I do that a lot.I watch people come and go when I'm at a certain place. I love watching people and try to feel what they feel and think what they think. But in the end,there's this one thing that will always be left in my mind "God,they will be saved.In Jesus Name,amen." 

My view earlier as I was having my people watch session/alone time!Heehee!:))

Friday has always been the most tiring day of my week and I just feel so blessed with everything that happened today.

1.)Got to bond with some of my college friends while in school. :) 

2.) Lunch and fellowship with Den,Jade and Mark.Found our that Den eats like a man.Hahaha!Kidding!I love you!:)) Thank you,guys!More bonding and sharing soon!Food trip!Woot woot! :)

3.)Had my people watch session/alone time this afternoon and that's when I started writing this post.Heart just started to pour out. :)

4.) Serious talk with ShobeBelle.Naks!HAHA!I'm so proud of you,shobs!>:D<

Reflecting now...I feel so loved with these people around me.I am so blessed also and my heart is dancing now because of the testimony of everyone that I've had conversations with today.GOD IS REALLY ON THE MOVE TO CHANGE THIS GENERATION!HE IS MOLDING EVERYONE TO LIFT HIS NAME HIGHER.HE IS REVEALING HIMSELF MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE!CHAINS WILL BE BROKEN,EYES WILL BE OPENED,LIVES WILL BE HEALED.
