You Are An Original

I know that fashion is all about clothes,jewelries,accessories,glam,beauty,etc. and that's the world that I'm in right now because of my course. Yes,as a fashion design student,I get to see a lot of those things. But the Word of God taught me how to not be concerned on the outward appearance because what's important is the beauty that comes from within. His Word also tells me that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."-(Psalm 139:14) and so are you. :) 

Through fashion,I want to tell the whole world about God's love and that our identity is with Him and not on the clothes that we wear. It's contradicting right? But I believe that He has called me to be here to make a difference. Little by little I'll spread His Message through arts and fashion not just here in Manila but to the ends of the earth.All for His glory! :) Nothing is impossible right? :)

So right now,I want to tell you that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME BECAUSE GOD CREATED YOU.DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS BECAUSE GOD MADE YOU UNIQUELY.YOU ARE AN ORIGINAL.GOD IS YOUR IDENTITY AND NOT THE CLOTHES THAT YOU WEAR.:)

Modest Is Hottest

The seminar was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!:)) Well,for me,as a fashion design student,my desire and goal in life is to really honor God with my course and my future career.Honestly,it's really hard,because in this career,you really need the approval of this world,you need their applause and everything.But NO!God just reminded me this morning of my purpose!"Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart."—(Ephesians 6:6) (WOW!I just realized that connection,as I'm writing this!:D)Anyhoooo...That's why this seminar really helped me a lot.It's so inspiring!"I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety"-(1 Timothy 2:9) You know,dressing modestly isn't being "manang" or being old fashioned!As what Jaime Jacmgochian would say "MODEST IS HOTTEST!". Seriously,you can still be fashionable,sexy and hot but at the same time being modest!:) 

WHY WE SHOULD DRESS MODESTLY:

1.)Because we want to HONOR GOD in every part of our lives.

2.)HELP THE BROTHAS OUT!

-Men are visual!Let's help them protect their eyes,heart and mind.

It was really a challenge for me to design and style for men's wear.Day before the event was really a busy day for me,it was so tiring and all but by God's grace!Hah!Mission accomplished!\:D/ If you know me,you could really say that "IT'S SO YOU!!!" Haha!I got that a lot when my friends saw my collection.The prints,colors and the mixed and matched are so me and I love it!:)

I Have Loved You For A Thousand years

I think most of the women would love to receive flowers from their lovers,it will make them feel special and loved of course.Haha!It's actually a sweet thing!:) At this time,I don't have a lover BUT I have a Lover!:) God is my Lover and for the past 2 years that I gave Him my heart,He hasn't disappointed me,and I'm sure that He will never ever do that. :) God has been really using people around me to show His love for me,and He really knows how to make me smile. :) Thanks to Krissy,Ate Ryzl and Ahya Andrew for the bouquet!SWEEET!Iloooveett!:D They gave it to me last night because we had our men's fashion show entitled "SHIFT".It was our final project for our Men's Apparel Clothing Construction(MCLCONS) and Men's Apparel Pattern Drafting(MSAPPDE) :) (Will be posting photos soon!:])

Rainy Thursday

Since I always spend only 3 hours or less in school during Thursdays and it was a rainy day today, I just wore a very comfy outfit!Sweatshirt+pants+sneakers with my new glasses!YAY!:) I felt like I was just at home.Haha!I remember those days(elementary,I think) when I wasn't secure enough to wear eyeglasses when I go out/go to school.Haha!That's why I asked my mom if I could wear contact lenses already,but now..There are times when my eyes are tired of wearing contacts so I really have to wear glasses and YAY again for God's security now.Heehee!:D Btw,I only spent more than an hour in school earlier because we're not doing anything anymore,so I decided to go home early.Took the LRT going to my dad's office,and it was another serious time for me to talk to God and to pray for His people in the train.When you see people rushing and if you just look beyond their faces,it's like you'd just feel what they feel and all you could do is say a silent prayer to God. :) Such a wonderful day!:) Anyhooo...This is just one of those random posts. :)) Thank you for reading!:) Have a blessed night!Hoping that everyone is safe from the typhoon!:) TGIF tomorrow!:)

I Know What You Did Last Friday

It was another day for our MCLCONS(Men's Clothing Construction) subject!:)
And this is what we do....

I was gonna work on the video for LIVE(will post about it soon) after school,but God really works in mysterious ways.Haha!He has a purpose for everything!The camera that I was gonna use wasn't ready yet,so I had to change my plans.Actually...I didn't have any other plans anymore!HAHA!But I was already hungry that time so I called Ate Ruth if we could have lunch and since we haven't really talked for so long,now is the time!Oh,she's very easy to invite!Haha!After lunch,we went back to the office for her to work and for me to be bum and wait for the time.Haha!Ate Chams was there working on something,and me being curious asked her about this small group material that was on the table and I found out that they're going to MASCI(Manila Science High School) for small group/life group. And me being a bum and God just being mysterious pushed me to ask Ate Chams if I could go with them,and she said yes!Woohoo!We went to MASCI together with Kuya Sean and Kuya Allan.

Na-miss ko ang magsuot ng uniform at canteen ng school namin!Haha!:)) To make the long story short: I MISS HIGH SCHOOL LIFE!:))

We had small group at KFC near MASCI.I am really blessed for everything that happened that time!:) Thank God for everything!:") Grabe lang din yung heart ni Ate Chams and Kuya Sean to reach out to these young men and women.They are really spending time to go there and share God's Word and have fun with the high school students!:) Sobrang nakaka-inspire talaga!PROMISE!:) Will be posting about their calling soon!:) Here are some of the MASCI students that went there last Friday!:)

Yes!We went to Robinson's Midtown for Happy Lemon!:) These young women really blessed me!That time ko lang sila na-meet pero parang matagal na kaming magkakasama!Haha!:)) Sobrang nakakatuwa sila kasama.They're so charming and lovable!:) Ang kukulit!:)) It was really and adventure for me too!:))
