You Are An Original

I know that fashion is all about clothes,jewelries,accessories,glam,beauty,etc. and that's the world that I'm in right now because of my course. Yes,as a fashion design student,I get to see a lot of those things. But the Word of God taught me how to not be concerned on the outward appearance because what's important is the beauty that comes from within. His Word also tells me that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."-(Psalm 139:14) and so are you. :) 

Through fashion,I want to tell the whole world about God's love and that our identity is with Him and not on the clothes that we wear. It's contradicting right? But I believe that He has called me to be here to make a difference. Little by little I'll spread His Message through arts and fashion not just here in Manila but to the ends of the earth.All for His glory! :) Nothing is impossible right? :)

So right now,I want to tell you that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME BECAUSE GOD CREATED YOU.DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS BECAUSE GOD MADE YOU UNIQUELY.YOU ARE AN ORIGINAL.GOD IS YOUR IDENTITY AND NOT THE CLOTHES THAT YOU WEAR.:)

I haven't been active here for a while because of so many reasons. God has been really molding my heart,my character,actually...Every part of me!*I don't know what emoticon to use here* HAHAHA!

Wooppsiee!I haven't done my list of the 12 things that I'm thankful for the year 2012!-.- I'm so sorry.I have to do it ASAP!:D But for tonight,I just want to share this video to you.This  brought tears to my eyes. :") 

One of my revelations during my 10 days missions to Mongolia(Yes,I went there!Haven't blogged about it too.Hee!:D) is that ONLY GOD can bring different people together.Language/Cultural barriers are nothing compared to the love of Christ that brings unity in us!His arms bond us together.HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD,RIGHT? :')  

Last 2 Months

Helloo!I'm going craazzeeyyy because of the colds and headache I've got -.- But hey!I chose to move some muscles today instead of sleeping!Haha!:)) No,I did not do some workout.I did what I love to do: "arts and crafts". :) 

First,I made bracelets for LOUxurious.Visit us on December 7-23,2012 for the World Bazaar Festival at World Trade Center,okay? :) 

Second, I found printable photo booth props at Oh Happy Day(Such a lovely site!) the other day and decided to do it for the coming events(I'm so excited!Will share it soon!:]) Here are some of them!:)

Oh yeah!Hello,November!:) These last 2 months of the year will be so hectic for me,well,I guess...For all of us!:)) But despite the full sched in our calendars, I hope and pray that each and everyone of us will not forget why Christmas season is very special. :)

After having a heartbreak as a turning point of my life and coming back to Jesus,LOVE LIFE is the one topic that I've been really avoiding not because I don't want to have one my own or I've already given up finding true love,but because I just know that TRUE LOVE already found me,Jesus found me.And I know that it's not yet the right time,it's not yet HIS time.You know...GUARD YOUR HEART until HIS right time comes,because the right person during the wrong time is still wrong.(Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.-Proverbs 4:23)(Naks!I really learned something!:D) 

Well,here I am right now,writing about THE topic,because I just had a very fruitful conversation with one of my life coaches.She shared stories to me about couples that really blessed,inspired and gave my heart a pinch!100% proven!!!God's hands and heart are really the perfect combination to write the best love stories.("And the "BEST AUTHOR" goes to...."*drum roll*.."GOD!"*confetti*) Hee!I realized that I should actually not avoid it,it's wisdom and very important for me to understand,be aware and be prepared so that when the right time comes,I know what to do.But at the time..GUARD THY HEART!:) We're all just like the fairytale princes and princesses.A princess would want a prince charming who would be a knight and shining armor to her.A prince charming would want to have a princess that he could feel that he's a hero,that he's the man and of course,the charming. And yes,we literally want to have our own "Once upon a time..." and "They lived happily ever after..." Right?:)

Yeah,I want to have my own love story too.When my coach was telling those stories,I got teary eyed.SERIOUSLY!My heart was screaming "GOD,I WANT TO HAVE THAT KIND OF MAN.A MAN AFTER YOUR OWN HEART THAT WOULD REALLY LOVE ME NEXT TO YOU.I WANT MY OWN LOVE STORY." Haha!But of course,I know that it's really not yet the right time for me to have that "little thing called LOVE".HAHAHA!(Parang movie lang ha):)) For the past months,God has been really sweet to remind me, "Anak,tayo munang dalawa.Akin ka muna." *kilig*!I've been really really really learning so much lately,God has been so patient,merciful,gracious and loving.As in WOW!How many times I've failed,HE HASN'T LET GO OF ME. :) All I know now is that let's not rush that LOVE,when THIS LOVE that is so TRUE and UNCONDITIONAL started years ago and THIS LOVE will last forever." The Lord appeared to us in the past,saying:“I have loved you with an everlasting love."-(Jeremiah 31:3) 

I just really believe that when we trust God and put Him first,everything else will follow.(But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.-Matthew 6:33) and He knows the deepest desires of our hearts so just delight in Him(Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.-Psalm 37:4) :) 

And for the LADIES,"God makes her secure forever."-(Psalm 48:8)

Don't worry,TRUE LOVE still exists.With the right person and in HIS right time.Be secure in God's unending and unfailing love. :) Study hard.Spend time with family.Honor God.Make Disciples.Be deeper in love with God.FOCUS.And you'll just be surprised on what awaits you!:) YAHAAYY!!! But seriously,I just really want to share that when you have Jesus in your heart,you will not even feel that YOU'RE ALONE.He fills every part and corner of your heart.So don't be afraid.Jesus is the best LOVE LIFE that you could ever have :)

My Heart Sings

When We Are Expecting For Big Things

Most of the time,we get annoyed when SMALL things are there in front of us,because we always want to receive BIG things.That's the truth,right?Every once in awhile,God will remind me to be always thankful in every single thing that He's doing in my life,whether it's big or small.He will always tell me to be joyful and just FOCUS on Him no matter what the situation is.

Today,God reminded me again when I found this quote in my notes.It was from the movie Amazing Grace.And yes!Those small things that God is doing in my life will surely mold me to the big things that He's gonna show me!I don't know when...Maybe later,maybe tomorrow,maybe next week or next month,all I know is that I can trust Him. :) I believe that it's one of the molding process wherein God will stretch our faith in Him, if we will remain faithful and obedient even if there are no beautiful storms from Him.He will fill us through those drips.So look beyond those little things that are happening in your life!Be thankful and pray that God may open your eyes and heart to see what He's up to!:) You'll be surprised with His answer!:) Let's be faithful in this drizzle season!:) Let's pray together!Okay?:) Let's go!:D

He Unveiled Me For His Purpose

It's Not Just A One Time Big Time Thing

I hope that we're not like this in our relationship with God.At first,we're so excited and shouting at the top of our lungs "I WAS LOST BUT NOW I'M FOUND!I AM FORGIVEN!" the next second,we don't mind of what Jesus did on the cross anymore.How's your heart now?How's your relationship with God now?Do you still remember the first time that someone shared the Good News to you?-"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."-(John 3:16) or your first encounter with Jesus?I hope and pray that you'll have the heart to crave for God more and more just like a baby craves for milk.Before,I settled for less.I told myself that I don't need to read His Word and go to church anymore because,I'm already saved and I already know Him.But I WAS WRONG.I was so far from close,and I am still far from close to all He is.I learned that I should always be excited every second of my life because of Him.It is not just a one time big time thing,but it's an every heart beat thing.I still have a lot to learn!

I Was A Boy

No,this is not my brother.HAHA!Hello to the kiddo me!:D When I was a kid,I'd really play with my boy cousins and I felt like I was one of them!I played computer games(wrestling,Counter Strike,etc.),pellet guns(OUCH!),LIVE wrestling(HAHA!Another OUCH!),and many more.I know,you can't imagine me now doing those things.HAHA!But hey!It's fun!I really enjoyed it!It was our bonding time!:) Another thing,I felt like I was my dad's son!Well,I wanted to(not literally ha!)!HAHA!Because I'd rather watch action/sci-fi/criminal movies and shows with him, instead of watching chhheeesssyy love stories with my sisters.HAHA!:))

But the time came wherein I found out that I'm not a boy,I really thought I was.HAHAHA!Kidding!=)))Okay,seriously..I'd still play games with them except the live wrestling and pellet guns!HAHAHA!I still love watching those shows with my dad.I can't remember what I was thinking during those years,why I'd play with my cousins and stuff.Maybe because I wanted to fit in,because we are in the same generation in our family.As if they'd play Barbie with me!HAHAHA!=))) But the thing is,I was one of the boys,just wanted to have fun and enjoy life and I wasn't aware that there's something more beyond my life that time.I wasn't aware that I AM GOD'S PRINCESS WITH A GREAT DESTINY.The time came wherein I FOUND MY PURPOSE IN LIFE!I FOUND MY PURPOSE IN JESUS CHRIST.

I was a boy,now,I'm a woman of God.Hehe!:))

Now,here I am,a woman of God who has found her purpose in life. A purpose that is worth living for. In this world,I am nothing,I am a nobody.But in His world and kingdom,I am an heir,I am special and loved by the KING.Every heartbeat is His purpose for me.God pursued me through the years,and here I am now,living the life where He has called me,and this is what I want to do my whole life.I pray that I will always have the heart to hear and obey His call,always and forever.

Just like Rebekah in the Bible I'd always want to say "I will go."-(Genesis 24:58) when God calls me to.I want to always be READY,WILLING AND ABLE to do His purpose in my life!:)

What Fathers Do

Max Lucado is really one of my favorite authors and this is the book that I am currently reading.

Oh yeah!Btw,it's the Mid-Year Prayer and Fasting!:) Just want to greet all those who are participating a HAPPY HAPPY PRAYER AND FASTING!:) Back to this book...As I was reading it earlier,there's a story that really melt my heart.It's the story of Derek and Jim Redmond.I immediately went to my #3 best friend(GOOGLE.Haha!) for more information about them and I found this!Please please please do watch this video. :")

Arrghhhhh!!Very touching story right?:")

1.)Derek believed that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.He really persevered until the end even if he's already in pain.

2.)His dad,Jim Redmond,was wearing a t-shirt that read "Have you hugged your child today?" and a hat that challenged,"Just Do It." Myygoollaayy!!:"> It's so sweeeeet!

3.)This conversation happened...

Dad:"You don't have to this."

Son:"Yes,I do."

Dad:"Well,then,we're going to finish this together."

AND YES!!!THEY FINISHED THE RACE TOGETHER!:"""") *cry cry*

4.)Because his son is in pain, this dad moved like a ninja just to help his son finish one important race of his life,and Max Lucado is right!"That's what fathers do"!

5.)In connection with the mid-year prayer and fasting,I just want to share these thoughts from Max Lucado, "God is more moved by our hurt than our eloquence.What made the father do it?Was it the strength of his child?No,it was the pain of his child. His son was hurt and fighting to complete the race.So the father came to help him finish. God does the same. Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempt may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not the one who says it,our prayers do make a difference."

6.)And as for me,"The One who is listening to our prayers is greater than the one who is stopping us from praying!" :)

Midterms

Dear everyone who's having midterms this week:

1.)Before anything else,PRAY and BELIEVE!Yes,there are so many things to do and all.But is it gonna hurt you to just pray for a second?

"Do not be anxious about anything,but in everything,by prayer and petition,with thanksgiving,present your requests to God."-(Philippians 4:6)

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."-(Matthew 21:22)

2.)Ask God for WISDOM. 

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."-(James 1:5)

3.) This one could really help you to stay positive and remain a right attitude.STOP COMPLAINING.

"Do everything without complaining or arguing."-(Philippians 2:14)

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."-(Philippians 4:13)

4.)Be HUMBLE enough to trust God.

"Humble yourselves,therefore,under God's mighty hand,that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."-(1 Peter 5:6-7)

4.)Keep fighting loike a NINJA!Haha!PERSEVERE!
