AUTHORITY.

Whenever we encounter the word AUTHORITY,it would most probably connect us to government,policemen,or whoever has the crown--the POWER.Most of us are against it,because we had bad experiences from them. We have wrong views or misconceptions about it.Why?Because we are humans,we have a nature that when we're sitted on the throne we tend to abuse the power that we have.Even me,I must admit that I was once like that.I spent my whole life in high school being in the authority--1st year:I was the vice president of the class and the secretary of our batch,2nd and 3rd year:I became the batch president,4th year:I was the president of our class.When I was in that stage of my life,all I could ever think of was ME,ME,ME,MYSELF AND I!All I ever wanted was for me to earn the title,fame,achievements and praise that people should give to me!Yes,I WAS A SELF-CENTERED BRAT(Haha!).In so many ways,I've abused the authority that was given to me.I used my position to excuse myself from classes just because I don't want to go to class,just because I want to loiter around school.In my brain it was all "Oh,the teachers won't mind and they won't fail me because they love me and they know my position." I sleep at class whenever I wanted to,I didn't care about the teachers,I see myself as the one who is on top,I look down on people,and all I know is that "I AM THE PRESIDENT!". As I'm looking back now,SO WHAT?!SO WHAT IF I WAS THE PRESIDENT OF OUR BATCH?!SO WHAT?!It's just a position,a name,a title!I did everything just for myself!I did everything to earn those titles and THEY ARE ALL WORTHLESS NOW.I felt like I was on top!But NO!I wasn't.Last week,God revealed the word AUTHORITY to me then suddenly He kept on revealing things about it,and I got so amazed with these revelations!:) God revealed to me that HE IS THE AUTHORITY OF ALL AUTHORITIES.He is so gracious and loving that HE DOESN'T ABUSE US,HE DOESN'T ABUSE THE POWER THAT HE HAS,HE IS NOT SELFISH.I am just in awe of everything that He has been revealing and doing in my life,because I know that He has a purpose for everything!God always remind me that He did all the things that happened during my high school life to equip/prepare/train me for today!:) I wouldn't be where I am right now if it weren't because of all the experiences that God put me in before.The titles,positions and fame that I've achieved are WORTHLESS they are NOTHING compared to the CROWN THAT GOD HAS GIVEN ME TO BE HIS VERY WARRIOR PRINCESS,AND THE POSITION THAT HE HAS PREPARED FOR ME IN HIS KINGDOM.


I've seen authorities abuse the power that they have,and I've seen myself doing that too. That's why it's very humbling whenever God reminds me that GOD WHO IS THE AUTHORITY OF ALL AUTHORITIES DOESN'T ABUSE US,AND HE HASN'T THOUGHT OF THAT,EVEN 0.0001%!HE IS ON TOP OF EVERYONE,BUT HE WANTS US TO BE WITH HIM!ISN'T IT AMAZING?:") So,who is the authority of your life?MAKE GOD YOUR AUTHORITY AND EVERYTHING WILL BE WORTHY!


This verse made a great impact in my life and I just love it!
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.-(Acts 20:24)


I pray that you will ask God for this too. :)

Turn my eyes away from worthless things;preserve my life according to your word.-(Psalm 119:37)

An Art For God.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

These question is probably the question that I've encountered a thousand times when I was still a kid and my answer was always "I want to be a PAINTER." Too bad,there's no painting course here in the Philippines.Haha!I've been in love with arts ever since I can remember. But I'm not a good artist or painter like other people--and not like my friend,Lau!Check her site!:) (Haha!Hi,Lau!You really are an amazing artist!:D God is so great to have given you with such talents!:D AMAZING!!) And praise God to the gifts that He has given me as well!Praying that I could use and enhance it more for His glory!:D

I really love to paint and I've been wanting to paint again,but I couldn't find time for it.But thank God for last Thursday(January 19,2012)!I got the time to paint again,and thanks to Bay Kennish from the series "Switched At Birth" that I got to be really inspired to paint again :)

The next night after I had lunch with my spiritual family in Tajimaya,I went there again(HAHA!) to have dinner with my best friends--Kass,Jill and Louise. We were supposed to surprise Jill and Louise for their birthday(January 8 for Jill and January 18 for Louise.),but it turned out that only the 4 of us were available that time.Missing Jade and the guys!:( But nonetheless,we had fun reminiscing our high school life and catching up with each other's lives. :)

Thank God for these best friends that I've met when I was still in pre-nursery/kinder/elementary,and now that we're all in college,I'm very glad that nothing really changed!Even though we don't see each other as often as before,the bond,care and love are still there. :)

Psalm 102:25-28(NIV)

We always hear and say that "People always CHANGE." and we all know the saying "The only constant is CHANGE." Yes,it's true that people always change,but I don't believe that CHANGE is the only constant.Changes do happen every second of our lives.The questions are "Is the change for good or not?" and "Where are you anchoring your faith?" I believe that we all want to change for good, but we also have to anchor our faith and trust on the right foundation--a foundation that will not be shaken nor moved nor CHANGED and GOD is where we should anchor our faith.The reason why I don't believe that the only constant is CHANGE is because God is not like us,He is UNCHANGING.GOD IS CONSTANT.YES,HE IS!ALWAYS AND FOREVER.People may disappoint us,but GOD will NEVER disappoint us. :)
