Last Sunday was not an ordinary Sunday for me. First,it was Easter Sunday.A very special day indeed! :) Second,I woke up very early to join some of my Cluster friends in Project Pearls.(Oh,I love saying the word PEARLS.Haha!Weird me roiighht thuurr again!:/) Please do click the link for more info!:)
Ever since, I had this dream of mine of building an orphanage and a foundation that would really help the less fortunate people. And I thought that dream wouldn't happen.Well,it's not that it already happened. BUT!!When I started going back to God,I've met a wonderful woman named Kriscel Papa who has the same heart as mine when it comes to less fortunate people. And through her God showed me that my dream is not impossible! That with Him and in His time it will happen!:) Little did we know that there are a lot of people in Cluster who has the same heart and passion!Dave Mariano is one of them!He was the one who invited us to Project Pearls, and WOW!This man has been blessed by God with a great heart!I salute this man for his passion and all!:)
Going back to what we did last Sunday,I never knew that there's something more--AS IN MORE than what I see everyday when it comes to poverty in our country. I was so shocked. My heart was really breaking as I walk through that place, all I could ever do was pray. SURELY!THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR THOSE PEOPLE LIVING THERE!I KNOW IT AND I BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS PLANS FOR THEM!:) Volunteering and joining in outreaches like this really breaks me,because it really opens my eyes on how other people suffer. But at the same time it melts my heart, because those smiles in their faces could really satisfy everything! It's worth it!:")
Come and join me as I share some photos during that day!:)
"YOU'RE the GOD of this City
YOU'RE the KING of these people
YOU'RE the LORD of this nation
YOU'RE the LIGHT in this darkness
YOU'RE the HOPE to the hopeless
YOU'RE the PEACE to the restless
FOR GREATER THINGS HAVE YET TO COME
AND GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE IN THIS CITY
GREATER THINGS HAVE YET TO COME
AND GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE IN THIS CITY
THERE IS NO ONE LIKE OUR GOD!"
